There is no way on the web based Yahoo to check that. With some mail programs you could request a receipt but the receiver always has the option not to send one. If an automatic receipt was allowed, spammers would know which of their random mailings went to valid addresses.

Yes if you use Oulook express, go into tools, then options and then on receipts. Click the box which says request a read receipt for all messages sent.

You can't tell after if someone has received your mail or not. But when you send the next one tell your message that you want a read receipt. Because then you will know that at least it has been opened.

if you use MS Outlook to manage your emails you can use the tools > options, to request a 'read receipt', however the person who opens the email has to agree to send you the confirmation that they have read it!

Only if you activated "request return receipt" before you sent it; and even then, many people cancel that function.

Not unless you put a "read reciept" on it AND the person has the class to return the reciept, which few people do.

i don't think so, but some email accounts allow you to have that option. my school email account lets me do that.
