No the U.S. doesn't have control; and I would agree with the second option of Joe Biden. The only thing that held the country together was that tyrant, Saddam Hussein. The separation of Iraq seems like the best option although there would have to be separation between not only Muslim subdivisions but linguistic as well (Arab and Kurdish), which will cause other problems. Sending in more troops will only get more of them killed and replacing the current government only reinforces the view of other M.-E. countries that the Iraqi government is a puppet government controlled by the U.S.; the faster the U.S. government gets out of there, the better it will be for the U.S. deficit, which is at a critical level and which will eventually have negative consequence for the rest of the world.

Nope but the Iraqi government has SOME control over it. The US only has control over the US armed forces there. Our goal is to have the Iraqi government with COMPLETE control over Iraq. The nut jobs you have been listening to would cut their own mother's throat to gain some political advantage. Joe Biden's suggestion of a separation of Iraq holds some merit. Knowing Joe Biden, I somehow think that was accidental.

I certainly hope not. Irag is a power amongst themselves. USA and allies were just trying to help make the civilians safe AND the world...because Saddam threatened it and said they had world destroying bombs.....a bit like North Korea is doing now?
If North Korea peoples have any sense (and dont wish to act like Nazis) they would smack their bomby people up the head and consider the world impact over their own silly AND scary game playing.
All over the world..people are getting real and trying to get rid of nuclear weapons....why is Korea so old fashioned now? They want to show their **** when everyone has already gone home already????? Thats just stupid. Maybe they are of little IQ after all...not developed from chimps as much as they should be.

The U.S. does not have control of the situation in Iraq and most likely never will. We may delude our selves into thinking the war is won and come home some day but 3 months after we've gone it will be like we were never there....except for the thousands of new graves caused by the foolish leaders of my country.

Well, unfortunately, I failed to understand what is the point of the US presence in Iraq at all!! For what kind of control are you talking about those "smart guys"? G.W.Bush sent American troops, but will he send also his daughters as humanitarians there..Iraqi people ARE SUFFERING every day, because while US troops entered Iraq and "liberated" the nation they let the frontiers open, that led to such jeopardy and out of any reason approach, which we observe now. Terrorists, fanatics, etc. entered Iraq and are blasting themselves every day. So right now no one has control there..Who is to blame for..??

The Iraqi Government has control over Iraq. Joe Biden's opinions means nothing. He's just an American politician. We can advise them at best, but that is it. That was the deal going in, and that is what we are doing.

First, I'm sorry you can't form your own opinion and have to watch news shows to have a point of view. Maybe the education system has let you down in independant thinking.
Second, no, America is merely defending a weak interm government. The people there are lazy and don't want to fight for democracy. Those who REALLY want it, will ALWAYS fight to get it.

Are you kidding me? If we did, then there would little if any violence. Wallace is just spinning the GOP line of B.S. Anybody who remotely believes that were in control over there is just plain ignorant of the facts.

Ill let you decide. Before we got there, women and girls couldn't go to school, it was being controlled by a maniac, no one got to vote, and everyone was afraid to be there. Now, evreyone can go to school, vote, maniacs in jail. My answer would be yes. And the next time you want to know the answer to a question like that, listen to conservative radio stations.
