Natman is right. I think the companies make their money by preying on those people who can never be bothered to claim their money back. I would steer clear if I were you and go to a main dealer. If you are looking for a new mobile, try Carphone Warehouse, they have fantastic deals on and cheap line rental with free high spec phones too. Have had my last 2 phones from there and found them really helpful.

You have to be very careful with these offers. If you forget to claim, or claim late, or send the wrong documentation you won't be able to get your cash back for that month or the other months. These companies are relying on their customers forgetting or making a mistake on their claim form and that's why they can afford to offer free line rental and cash back

These are called 'redemtpion' offers. basically dealers get alot of commision from mobile networks for selling their products and getting customers to sign up. in fact they make so much commision that they can afford to give you the line rental free by redemtion cheques. it basically means that on the agreed months you send in copies of your invoices by post or fax to the dealers and they send you a cheque for the agreed amount. they really on customers forgetting to do it or not being able to be bothered to do it
