Call your employer and ask when you can expect to get your check.

If you were "FIRED", you may be able to also collect unemployment. Check with the unemployment office of the state where you live.

FOR WHATEVER REASON YOU ARE FIRED..THE EMPLOYER IS TO PAY YOU AT THE TIME OF DISMISSAL....IF IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN 24 HOURS, CALL AND ASK FOR YOUR CHECK...IF THAT DOESN'T WORK, MAKE A CALL TO THE WAGE AND HOUR BOARD IN YOUR AREA...THEY WILL SEND MAKE A CALL ON YOUR BEHALF AND FIGHT FOR YOU TO GET YOUR MONEY...YOU HAVE DONE THE WORK...YOU GET PAID BEFORE ANY OTHER BILLS ARE PAID WHEN A BUSINESS IS SOLD....

You should be getting a severance package as well. I would call and ask about your check and package. Sorry about your job.
