Because of hypocrisy that's why. The ones that really make me laugh are the ones who say wrestling is fake(Which i know it is ) but yet they get mad when people mention to them how fake reality shows are when it's so obvious that they are. And i won't even start on how mad they get when you remind them that why do they go to a movie theater to watch a movie since the movies are fake too lol.

Exactly. Almost everything you see on tv is fake, let me name a few. Commercials, Soap Operas, Sitcoms etc... So why do people constantly make comments about wrestling being fake? Wrestling might be fake, but most of the injurie's, that the wrestlers suffer, aren't.

Because wrestling isn't presented in the context of an action-adventure series or as a dramatic work of fiction. It's framed up as though it were a series of actual fights, and you have to be semi-alert to figure out that the men engaged in the contest are really acting. In other words, wrestling seems at first glance to be like boxing, which is a real fight. But investigation shows that wrestling is, instead, a sort of parody of a fight.

i agree, many people get annoyed when they watch it cos they say its fake, but i think its no different from a theatre show.
