No, the materials inside Windex aren't meant for wood furniture. It won't polish wood, it'll ruin it. Use Endust, I use it all the time for my wood furniture and it works like a charm. It makes my wood dust free for at least a week, clean and shiny.

Definately not. My aunt tried using the all surface windex and it took the finish off of the wood. So now there's a pale brown spot where that happened.

Only if you want to strip the finish. No, it isn't going to ruin it doing it once or twice, but it will leave your wood dry and dull. If you don't have any cleaner on hand meant for wood, I would just use a mild soap on a damp cloth.

you should not if you mean Windex window cleaner. It takes oils out. then the wood would become dry and dull and may even get small fisure cracks if you use it as your cleaner for wood.

Absolutely not. Just left a Windex bottle that must have had a leak. The ammonia put a big watermark on the table and created a crack.

Wilndex is NOT a cure all for ALL.. No... it is NOT to be used on wood, stainless steel, etc. On wood, use a wood cleaner and the follow up with furniture oil

Along with stone, mud and animal parts, wood was one of the first materials worked by early humans. Microwear analysis of the Mousterian stone tools used by the Neanderthals show that many were used to work wood. The development of civilization was closely tied to the development of increasingly greater degrees of skill in working these materials.

NO HOW COULD YOU USE WINDEX? YOUR FURNITURE SHOULD BE THE RECIPIENT OF PLEDGE. MOREOVER YOU ANSWER TO MY QUESTION WAS STUPPPPPID. YOU OVER ANALYZE THINGS, EMPHASIS ON THE ANALyze. ONE DOESN'T GIVE A DAMN WHEN THEY SIMPLY ELECT TO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING OR NOTHING WHATEVER YOU PRETTY LITTLE MIND CAN HANDLE. ANYWAYS WHAT CREDIBILITY DOES A PERSON WHO ASK IF HE CAN CLEAN HIS WOOD FURNITURE WITH WINDEX HAVE? OH YEAH BY THE WAY DON'T FORGET TO BLEACH YOUR DARK CLOTHES. FURTHERMORE, SO YOU WON'T GET A HEADACHE I DID INTENTIONALLY LEAVE THE CAPS LOCK BUTTON ON.
