Being a fan of the Brewers, I'm happy with how they played. That being said, knowing that the Tigers had a losing season for each of the last 13 years (not sure about last year), I'm VERY impressed with the tigers. I was VERY ecstatic that they took out the Yankees in the first round this year (Yeah, I know, but, the Yanks can't win it every year, nor should they!), and am surprised that they handled the Atheltics with such ease.
I know that I wouldn't have ever guessed that they would make the World series, but back in April, they were tied with my Brewers for the best start in baseball this year - both being the only two to start with five wins and no losses before losing a game.
Go Tigers!!

I'm a Cubs fan but I guess I'm on the Tigers' bandwagon for the remainder of the season.
I remember back in '84 when the Tigers won the Series; the people in Detroit celebrated by lighting bonfires and overturning cars. Hilarious!
Well, hilarious to people watching, I guess, not so much so to the people who had their cars vandalized.
All that came after the Tigers beat the Padres, punishing them for beating the Cubs that year!

Finally getting a bit of respect that we deserve!!! After we beat the Yankees, thought everyone forgot about The Tigers. They were more concerned about how "badly" the yanks played. A's were going to lay it down on us, and what? Sweeep!!
When we Sweep the Cards, then we will get the respect we Deserve. Leyland for Governor!! Go Tigers!!!

I am happy for your team, for the year they've had and the post season that they have had. I wish the fans and the team continued success.
Now, maybe my team can beat the other Detroit team today. The one in the NFL... the Bills vs. the Lions

Well....I guess my answer has to be....or what! They will be a great team this year IF they continue their run and win the World Series. If not....only fans in Detroit will remember this season.
