It depends if your computer already has a built in wireless adpt.

Try checking network adapters if you have one.
-right click on the MY COMPUTER icon on your desktop and then select PROTERTIES. on the SYSTEM PROPERTIES window , click HARDWARE and then click on DEVICE MANAGERS. On the device manager window look for NETWORK ADAPTERS and then under network adapters, you should find your wireless card. (if u have one, but if not.. then u need to buy one )

What kind of adapter are you talking about? If your computer does not have a wireless NIC in it, then you will need to buy one. Otherwise everything you need comes with the router.
