The scene in the movie "American History X" where he makes the kid open his jaw very wide and "bite" the curb. Then as he's biting the curb of the street, he picks up his foot and slams it down on the back of the kids head -- killing him. That would be the worst way to go...

I don't recall the title. Definitely a low rent B movie. I was in the Marine Corps. Movies were shown Saturdays. The scheduled movie was" The Strawberry Statement." It was an anti war movie. I had read the book first so I looked forward to seeing the movie. Instead of this movie, the base commander decided (Marine Corps commanders hate anything to do with peace and love) to show a film that opened with a scene where a faceless female was gutted like a newly killed deer. It went downhill from there. I could not wait for my three year enlistment to expire and return to college.

Star Wars The Phantom Menace.
The entire film and the ones that followed it was an offense to the original trilogy. The plotting, the characters and the fun that audiences delighted in for years...was missing...it was almost as if the guy who made these movies forgot what made them so popular in the first place. The new Star Wars movies were simply an offense to the entire mythology...and lucas new better...which is what makes it all the more horrible.

I know you are asking about movies, but have to include this.
I recently saw "The Roast of William Shatner"
I am not a prude by any means, but this "roast" was the most offensive TV program I have ever seen. It was vulgar, sexist and disgusting. I watched with mouth agape. Even the men and women in the audience couldn't believe what they heard.
I remember Roastings being a thing of fun, tongue in cheek comments, hilarious comedy. Whatever happened to good talent and funny well thought out comments instead of this trash they now consider funny!!

American History X... I answered immediately, didn't need more than a second! I'm watching this movie which I knew going in was going to be distgrubing because it is about racism and all, but there is this one scene that involves the main character killing a gang member... I was sickened and it still (3 or 4 years later) literally turns my stomach whenever I think of it

Using the broadest definition of the word "movie" I would have to say Leni Riefenstahl's Triumph of the Will, which I saw as part of my film studies class. It's a propaganda film (probably the most famous piece of propaganda) documenting the Nazi party's Congress in Nuremberg. It's beautifully shot and edited, which is precisely what I found so offensive... that someone would use their great artistry in the service of great evil.

Ron Howard's movie, The DaVinci Code.
It was so poorly done, the casting of the actors was all wrong, the volume grew too loud in parts, and the interception of other scenes superimposed in the film was so distracting to the plot.
What a bomb!
Dan Brown must be sorry he trusted Hollywood to do his book justice. Howard's direction managed to ruin the imaginations of all of us who read Brown's book.

Most definitely "Pink Flamingos". It's intentionally made to be offensive and disturbing in it's entirety. I don't know about you but seeing a dog defecate and having a transvestite turn around and eat it is pretty offensive.

"The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland".
There are so many reasons this film sucked, but here are the top two:
1, Elmo was in it.
2, He lived.
