REALITY IS REALITY - YOU SHOULD BE A GOOD PERSON FOR YOURSELF NOT TO PLEASE OTHERS

I'm sorry to say that there are some religions that teach their patrons to kill others. I'm not saying which. But being nice to someone first is the best way to start out. I don't think it's a bad thing to protect yourself if the other turns nasty. Actually, if you can, walk away from them and try not to talk to them. I would watch my back though.

There are many meanings to "nice", in lots of different situations. For example, being friendly and considerate will get you a better reputation among people than being nasty. The fact is, we live in a world of other human beings. It is best to cooperate with them and have friends, although of course there are limits on that. Being nice does not need to mean giving up everything you have.

You can be nice and also stand up for yourself and others without violating your morals and ethics. I noticed that in my work environment, standing up to the mean people in an aggressive manner often turns out to be the solution to protect your peers against (for lack of a better word) torture. (military) So in the end an aggressive person can use his/her strong voice to help to protect passive people that will not stand up for themselves.

ask yourself if you like you better when you are being a good person.
ask yourself if being nice takes more energy than being angry.
ask yourself how do you like to be treated.
societies laws stem from religion if you are looking to win then the reward for this should be how you feel about you.
