in a similar way that they treated blacks at the turn of the century? Will we run into the same problem with Islamic and Arab people and then just make them slaves too??

You might be interested in knowing, that it was the Europeans that introduced Muslims to holy wars. And not so long ago. France had huge control over the Middle East for a long time. During World War II France decided to cede to Nazi Germany, and pretty much gave the Middle East to Hitler. The only way the Middle Easterners could defend themselves from this powerful force, was through hit and run tactics.

True Muslims are actually very peaceful, and while Mohammed hated the Jewish because of a great betrayal in his hometown of Mecca, he got along quite well with Christians, and accepted that Jesus Christ was part of our religions, although not necessarily his savior.

I think the US is on the path to alienating everyone, not just the Muslims.

No it isn't like that Don't forget blacks were brought to the USA as cargo. They were sold and traded for so they were treated like property. Islamic and Arab people have to simply give up their oil and people would leave them alone. Also bringing Islamic and Arab people in as slaves would simply increase the terrorist abilities within the US. No longer would INS have to worry about possible terrorists slipping through, if "slavery" was an outcome they would already be there. Historically the United States pick on smaller countries, take what they want, then they say gee we feel bad, come to America and let us show you how nice we really are. People from war torn countries are given residence, jobs and education. So much for the born and bred American. You can't get that kind of assistance. On a personal note, I think that the US is getting bored with the Middle East. It is time to jump back to the 1950's and watch while they take on North Korea again. I know that the UN imposed sanctions based on the "urgings" of the US and as it turns out it is the US who drafted the resolution. So don't worry about your next housekeeper being a *****, he will probably be about 5 feet tall named Kim.

i don't think of that's an precise assessment in any respect. Rome "battled" against the unfold of Christianity by way of fact it became a clean faith that became spreading and it became diverse than their generic ideals so as that they needed to resign its unfold. Judaism became around when you consider that before Rome, yet i assume the Jews have been like a separate custom interior Rome that led to some matters with the government. the two one among those cases are diverse than the fashionable US and Islam. Islam isn't a clean faith that the U. S. is making an attempt to resign from spreading. neither is Islam a separate custom in the U. S. that reasons matters. the U. S. would not have any problems with the religion of Islam, so there's no conflict in any respect, extremely. Muslims stay in the U. S. as widely used electorate that are totally integrated into our society. the only element with regard to the U. S. as against Islam is that the U. S. is scuffling with terrorists and extremists that attempt to homicide people. and those terrorists and extremists take place to be Muslims.

I think Islam is turning people against Islam.

The pscychotic, video-taped decapitations, the complete disregard for human life, the violation of their own religious edicts, i.e., not killing other muslims, the wild-eyed, frenzied reactions to EVERYTHING is causing people to look askance at every muslim.

If Muslims believe God created life, why are they so quick to usurp God's role and take life so callously? Why do they want to murder everyone that they themselves accept as being created in God's image?

My opinion is that someone left the door unlocked at a major Muslim Mental Hospital and the psychopaths have taken over the religion. If all Muslims support the actions of the murderous clergy calling for "jihads", then their faith and their humanity is in serious question.

Arabs aren't the problem... radical muslims are the problem... as a liberal person I find their views disgusting and intollerant. these people should leave the rest of the world alone and practice their luny brand of islam in their own homes.

As a cynical political act on the part of the US, yes. Its being done to bolster support from uninformed American voters.
In order to be OK with killing someone we need to depersonalize them first.

I personally won't let that happen to me...I will not hate an entire population of people because some political party wants my vote. No way, no how.
