If you are execising alot more than you ever have that is why you period has stopped. If your not loosing any weight while exercising and not eating much there might be something wrong with your thyroid. I would go to the doctor and just have him or her check it. If there is nothing wrong with you thyroid explain to your doctor whats been going on.. You should really be checked out.. Hope this helps. good luck :]

From the top...

Your body is a machine. It takes in fuel (food energy, aka "carbs", which are measured in "calories") and then burns it off (exercise, work, etc).

If you take in more fuel than you burn then your body stores it in fat cells (and will even make more fat cells!). If you take in less than your burn, then the body takes stored energy out of fat cells.

New mommies have it tough. Your body kicked your appetite into overdrive during pregnancy to make sure that Junior (your baby) was getting enough food, and so that you'd have enough stored energy to breast feed. And here you are, pockets of stored fuel (FAT!) all over, with your breasts looking like they can feed the entire Russian army!!!

I'd recommend that you join a group like Weight Watchers that can help you learn to eat properly. Your body will never be the same as before you got PG (duh!) and you'll need to feed your body according to the new rules, not the old ones.

In addition, and I know this is tough for new mommies, you need to join an exercise class. This is tough 'cause you probably don't have a lot of time or energy! However, this is time for YOU, and will give you some new friends.

I'm worried about your periods. This means that something isn't right. Women whose periods stop are either PREGNANT!! (ducking), or doing extreme exercises (gymnists have this problem), or having hormones wayyyy out of balance. Perhaps if you're breastfeeding there is a connection, but I'd ask the doctor about this when you take Junior in for the next well baby exam.

see your doctor, you may be pregnant again ... as far as your weight goes, you are using the wrong measurement for health, after your pregnancy, you received a sheet of exercises to rebuild your stomach muscles, doing them faithfully should return you to a fit state within 90 -120 days .. watch the inches, eat sensibly, get plenty of exercise and sleep and the weight will take care of itself ... not eating enough can throw your body into a "storage" state ... it is better to eat frequent small healthy meals like a half a sandwich and some fruit 5 or 6 times a day as opposed to 2 or 3 larger meals ... this cues the body to not store food since you will be eating soon (increases the metabolism)

That's odd. You must be exercising your **** off dear, if your periods have stopped. Something is amiss. Go see the doctor immediately to find out what.
