Ok dude, I can relate to you here. I went to the doctor and they said I had scholeosis; bad enough to watch but not bad enough for treatment (or drugs). There are a few things that can help reduce the duration and severity of pain and also the amount of occurences. First of all, stretch your legs and back out on a daily basis, as often times back pains are actually muscle cramps from lack of use, or being used more than normal. Also when the pain hits, take a HOT shower and let the water run down your back; you will see that this really helps. You could also use a heating pad but this will not be as affective. Other than that the only thing I could reccomend is percocets, but they are hard to get unless you live in Mexico. Tylenol extra works, but it takes a while to kick in, and don't use it too much as it's bad for your liver.

Even less than caring about hurting the people 'still living' -- Think about your situation and what is the number one priority right now? I would say pain relief.. or drastic reduction. Pain keeps us out of a rational point of mind. It is undeniable pain lowers our threshold to cope, attention spans, ability to enjoy life and so on. When looking for the cause of pain, finding out, then finding out there is nothing much that can fix it is tough. But, again, you are back with a condition. It is no fun, it doesn't seem fair,. etc. It is incredibly rough on the psyche. Though to live in pain on top of it is just pushing you over the edge, perhaps literally. There ARE pain relief methods for even chronic disease. This is the first thing that needs to be dealt with at this point. When pain is controlled you are better able to take that stability and move forward with other symptomatic treatment options. Most doctors don't want a chronic, indefinite patient that will require high doses of schedule II narcotics on their patient list.. but some will. This isn't a take a lortab every 4-6 hour type of thing. You need long lasting daily chronic pain medication then break through medication if the pain , well, breaks through . Yes, this leads to dependence, perhaps some addiction, and so on.. but sitting in pain because of that risk isn't the answer. Pain relief is worth the consequences. You can utilize anything from Methadone, to Fentanyl (or Oxycontin) for your long term pain relief, and then shorter acting opiates for breakthrough. Suicide isn't the answer.. if there really was NO way to control pain then it would be a reasonable answer to consider. But the fact is pain can be controlled, and sometimes it takes a while to get it right. Lots of trying different medications, then dealing with their respective side effects. You may need to see a pain management clinic for this, and then your separate doctors and specialists to treat your disease. Then of course there is always hope of new developments in medicine.. medicine is anything but stagnant, even though it often seems that way. We have sort of been in lull in 'breakthroughs' with many things,.. I do believe there will be a medical revolution of some sort that may not even involve traditional pharmaceutical intervention as we've been using for a century now. I digress,.. but there is every reason to hope. Take care,

Hi PrinceS,
Do you belong to a gym? I think working out a few times a week would help. Based on your descriptions, I think your symtomps are pretty hard because you could not stand and walk so long. Are you working now, and how do you cope with that?
I am not sure if masterbation is the cause because you're still young and nutrition can make up for the energy you lost unless you really abused it. Most guys masterbate and they're oK. How often you did it? What job do you have?

Is it lower or upper back pain? did you do any strenuous exercises or have an injury to promote the pain in the past? A friend of mine used to develope back pain every time he had sex (in and out motion) was hard on his lower back he said. I would suggest seeing a health professional, and definitly get a set of xrays to determine if your discs are lined up in order or perhaps it's genetic and you may have schloisis (i have a slight case of this) and the xrays would be able to tell you. for now, if u think it's masterbation, i'd put a hold on that, ya, it's hard to, but it's ur back man, gotta take good care of it. hope this helps. lemme know. i'm 24 too.

If you do masturbation a lot, It will be the cause of this back pain. However a limitation of masturbate will be fine for you. Don't let your sex drive controls over your ability in health. The same purpose of masturbation and making love is to get ejaculated but the difference is masturbation had a less exercise than making love. In order to please a women, you have to spend a lot of energy to bring her to the climax by moving your body from top to bottom, right to left and finally thrusting your body from up to down. Even your tongue is also exercise by getting cramp sometimes.
In general, either you limit your masturbation or getting a GF will help a lot to your back pain.
