It's a pretty stupid thing to do with braces.

Also, the piercing will constantly rub against the gum tissue, making it receed which will cause the tooth to loosen up and eventually fall out. (all over a period of time)

As a tattoo artist and a piercer----I think you're insane to even consider this body mutilation on your 15 yr old. Your child is in braces----this in itself should give you a clueless clue that what you're suggesting is out of the question.

Lip piercings on anyone----is UGLY---even though I have to do them doesn't mean they're attractive----

She's 15----immature---YOU be the parent and say NO----Most states the child has to be 18-21 b4 piercings can be done! You need to get some control in your HOME....REMEMBER YOU are the Parent and not the visa versa!

ooo im 13, female, thats a bad idea specially when shes wearing braces. the piercing can get caught on her braces and she can get hurt, she should wait until she is older and the braces come off for her own safety and if the braces are new she mouth will hurt alot cuz u cant hardly chew with braces on things can get stuck n that braces and piercing too.if i were u i would make her wait

I am 41/male. I don't get it. Who is the parent? Your 15-year-old daughter does not control or run your houshold, right? Your children cannot tell you what to do while they live under your roof. If you think she should not get her lips pierced, then what else is left to discuss?

I hope this helps.

A lip piercing is trashy, she will regret it later. You're the parent, don't let her do it. Plus with the braces I would assume it's not exactly safe. Why not ask her orthodontist.

Wait until the braces are gone, or it's going to be a big fat ugly mess. Then again, if you want her to never kiss a guy, go for it!
