I was ran over by a boat.
I was 11 and jumping off a dock at the neighbors camp. The guy pulled up on the OTHER side so being 11 I thought it was safe to jump in the opposite side. WELL.
He didn't see me so he backed up! I remember swimming and hearing the boat behind me coming closer, the whir of the propellers. I remember swimming for my LIFE. I thought I was gonna die. Then WRRRRRRRRRRR something went and I was then yanked out of the water by the neighbor. I look down - and where my foot was is nothing but blood and meat and bone.
The propeller chopped up my foot!
After hours at the ER and my first drug high on morphine, LOL, I still have a foot! LUCKY! Just some nasty scars, a bad ankle and a "dead" pinky toe.
THAT was scary. I still have nightmares of that boat coming.

1. Being threatened with a shotgun if I didn't have sex with a man and walking away telling him to shoot me rather than be raped
2. Being raped by a guy with a knife to my throat up against a wall
3. A 2 yr. long visitation by an evil ghost that touched me, scratched and tapped on the window (30 ft. high with a screen that had scratch marks on it the next day) along with a lota other scary things. Not pleasant.

As a small child, I got picked up by a wind gust on the San Francisco Bay. I was mortified, my grandmother was right there and was able to grab me. This was very frightening.

When I was jogging one day, and this large stray dog growled at me. I think he sensed my fear and then started to chase me. I prayed the most sincere prayer I could under the circumstances, and the dog then turned around and went away.
