My old Hd was about to bite it, so I transferred all my music from the comp to the iPod. Now I have the new Hd in and the OS is up and running. I reinstalled all my programs (one being iTunes of course) and now I have no idea how to transfer the songs from the iPod BACK to the iTunes.

It keeps telling me that there are no songs to tranfer to the iPod, but I don't want to transfer to the iPod I want it to tranfer FROM the iPod to iTunes.

Thanks for any help

Well, that's just insane! Do they not advertise that the iPod can also be used as a conventional Hd? The iPod is essentially a Hd with its own little music OS.

I say take it to a local computer shop. Trust me,.. some little geek there knows EXACTLY how to get your songs back on to your computer.

God bless the Nerds! Without them the rest of us would be lost trying to figure out how to make fire,... and clubbing each other over the head with laptops

You need to back up Your iTunes onto a portable hard Drive!
The iPod is Not able to transfer backwards onto a Fresh version of iTunes! Unless it contains the Original Music that was uploaded onto your iPod!
