suggestion on how to handle condescending b*^&$?

Question

this b___ goes out with a freind of ours(circle of friends)
When I run into her, she acks as thou she's above me and tries to embarass me or point out something i did or said or what ever "tells me how cute..."(most of us see thru the sarcasm and wait to see my reaction).
Last night she made her usual comments about every ones appearance fishing for return complents and notice of her boobs. (I have some too, but am more modest)

Then a hair color issue of how she washed her gray away, then brought attention to my temp color that washed out and was showing my gray, blah blah blah (you get the picture)

She's blond and shows off her stuff(gets the attention she wants). I'm brunett and prefer to keep my stuff to myself.
So I don't see a competion issue.

I have a good rep. of being cool, never "catty".I try to be polite,but I'm ready to tell her to shut the h___ up.

Anything clever I can do or say to end this crap of 3yrs so far without looking like a b____ myself?

There are those that try to feel better about themselves by demeaning others.
If this conduct is bothering you simply tell her that it is not acceptable and then if it continues tell her to take a hike.
You are the one that determines how others treat you.

In the service industry we are told the customer is always right.
Kill em with genuine kindness.
If you want to control the situation and have your friend be the person she really is.
Compliment or offer nice comments before she has the chance.
This way you are taking control of the situation and she won't feel the need to have to prove herself to anyone or engage in attention seeking behavior.
When you have a difficult situation being more disagreeable and difficult, like adding gasoline to a fire, is only going to make it more combustable.
You choose.

You have such a large mouth that every time you open it you smear lipstick on your ears.
Bat your eyes innocently then quickly go on to another topic with a true friend as if nothing happened.
I've always believed that you don't need to lower yourself to her level and this one's sweet enough if you put the right inflection in it that she'll probably not even notice it, but I'm sure your friend will.
