Have you gone through a "change of life" so to speak physically and emotionally? Hormonal mood swings, painful periods, thoughts of reliving your life ect...?

I'm 34 w/ children and had a tubal ligation.

My aunt went through early menopause in her thirties but she never had children. Could it be brought about by a tubal ligation?

All these men answering my question...interesting. They must think they are female in their thirties having painful periods! I don't know anyone who hasn't re-thought their life-including my husband at 40.

It's highly unusual for a woman to have menopause in her thirties. It is the complete cessation of the period. Prior to that however there is perimenopause, which can happen up to 10 years prior to menopause. It's just a time during which your estrogene levels start to fall and that's pretty common in the thirties. It's also common for PMS to get worse. During every phase of a woman's life there are changes and the thirties are no different. Have you discussed your issues with your obgyn?

well I'm 29 and it's happened , but I had a underlying Medical problem that caused it.
The mood swings and the hot flushes are bareable they do tend to creep up on you, I haven't wanted to relive my life as I"m still living it at the moment, I just happen to be able to live it a little better now I dont have to worry about the monthly visit from Auntie Flo.

I'm in my forties. Can I answer? I am in peri-menopause and the doctor says my uterus is disordered. She did an Endometrial Ablation(cauterizing the uterus) which has been wonderful. I am on Paxil for the depression and mood swings that I started having. Hope I've helped. Good luck!

No, that happens in your 40's....you start thinking about how you're unsatisfied, then you meet a nice guy and cheat on your husband....then your husband kicks you out of his life and you live with your new boyfriend for about 6 months before he kicks you out.....then you suddenly realize how good your life WAS.....

I'm almost 38, and I have mood swings, and hot flashes. My husband calls them power surges.
