I am pregnant with my second child, and I am wondering if any mothers out there had completely different experiences with each pregnancy? Did you feel different physically (morning sickness, etc.) with each? Did you find that labour was easier the second time around?

I had a wonderful pregnancy with my son, but had a long and hard labour as well.

I would love to hear other people's experiences.

Thank you!

I have 3 sons and am currently pregnant.
~ With my oldest, I had a horrible pregnancy and a horrible delivery. I had aches and pains and really bad morning sickness.
~ With my middle son, (who is only 1 year and 4 days younger than my oldest.) I had a not so bad pregnancy and an easy delivery - even though he was a bigger baby. My aches and pains weren't as bad and my morning sickness was limited to when we would go out to eat.
~ With my youngest son (who is 4 years younger than my middle son) I was in school full time going through the teacher ed program. I had a pretty easy pregnancy and the worst delivery. I was in labor for TWO WEEKS!! (We later found out the reason was because I had miscarried a twin and the other sac had prolonged the labor.) My aches and pains only came at the end and morning sickness wasn't bad at all.
~ With this pregnancy (this baby is going to be 3 years almost to the day younger than my youngest son) my aches and pain have been far worse than I could have imagined. My morning sickness - well I REALLY could do without it - has me sick at the weirdest times. One moment I am cooking something and the smells are NO problem; and then after I have served everyone and I try to go back into the kitchen, those same smells have me throwing up.

SOOOOO In my opinion, every pregnancy is different, if you are lucky you may have pregnancies that are similar. Good luck with the second pregnancy!!

Im having my 4th child in March and all of my pregnancies have been different. I have had morning sickness with all of them though. Now with my first baby I was in labor for about 12 hours, but it was very intense and hard. With my second baby I was actually only in labor for for a couple of hours and didnt have any pain at all until the last hour, and then pushing was very quick. With my third, I my water broke at 10pm and I had him by 1am. Only 3 hours. Usually the first is the hardest , and then it may get easier. Depends on the woman though. My friend just had her third baby and was in labor from 10 am until 1:20 the next morning. So 15 hours. It was very hard for her. So it just depends.

Every pregnancy is different. I have 4 children and nothing was the same with any of them.

And no, the second labor will not necessarily be easier either. With my first, I was in labor for 6 hours including 1 hour of pushing.
With my second I was in labor for 17 hours with the heart rate dropping several times, before they started talking about a C-section. I got the epidural at that point and at 18 hours, I started pushing. I pushed for another 1 1/2 hours before he was born. It was exhausting.
My hardest labor was the 3rd, though. She was turned wrong and I had a very hard, painful time.
Thankfully my 4th was much easier.

Congrats!

With my daughter I had no clue I was pregnant until I missed my period. Then I had morning sickness everyday for 4 months striaght. I was also a plimp and had really bad heart burn.

I am now pregnant with my son and I knew the exact day he was conceived! I didn't have morning sickness, but suffered from hypogycimia (low blood sugar). I showed almost instantly with a belly, but I didn't have the heart burn.

This pregnancy is quite different then my first. It happends. Its very common as well.

I'm currently expecting my 2nd, due March 19th. Since finding out that I was pregnant with this one, I had morning sickness up until week 16, I had developed appendicitis and needed to have my appendix taken out, my blood sugar has dropped far below where it needs to be, and the list goes on. I NEVER had any complications with my first until the 8th month when my blood pressure sky rocketed and needed to be on bed rest. I keep telling myself that since the first was a girl and it so easy to be pregnant with her this one HAS to be a boy LOL Unfortunately, I had to have a planned C section with the first since she decided at the last minute to turn breech, so I can't say anything about the labor.

Good luck to you and congratulations!

Absolutely. I had 2 kids 13 months apart. My 1st born, boy, born at 9lbs 6ozs....tough labor and a few week recovery. Then my daughter was born 3 weeks early at just 6 lbs, 1 push and she was born and I was walking around 30 minutes later with no pain....good luck!

2 strains ability pregnant NO MISTAKE. yet on no account examine a attempt after to any extent further than 8-10min as they become defective and you may get all varieties of solutions, yet whilst the two strains got here up interior the 1st 5-10 minutes then you definately are PREGNANT :) :) :) :) congrats
