Let me rephrase that.
Even if you are married, would you rather bring in your own income or let your husband do all the work?
Personally, as an independent woman, if I got married, I would still like to have my own income.
It's a personal choice.

personally speaking...
i want to settle down n be a full time homemaker..
i'm tired of working for other pple.
mothers are usually underrated, but i think thats unfair...
they are everything...a doctor, teacher, acct, vet, driver, carpenter..name it they can do it...
oh boi, i miz my mom!

My mom and dad both work. I know it's important for my family's income, but I'm a selfish little kid (tee hee) and I sometimes wish they would come home early once in a while, or take a day off. If you do get married, I think you should work until you start a family, then if you can afford to stay at home at look after the family, then why not. You could work 2 days a week or something, just so that you can get a bit of both.

They both have appeal. I favor the 'stay at home' mom but realize that this is challenging in a society which is so monitary driven. I would enjoy being a stay-at home mom until they reached first grade; and then do stuff like: teaching, crafts, part - time postitions to help the household out.

I am so tired of working, it's not even funny. I would like it if I had a choice, however, with the standard of living here in Miami, Florida, you're forced to bring in 2 incomes. If it were up to me, I'd stay home.

I rather go out and work because that shows you are a independent woman and not a lazy. now adays women are working and not staying at home because they know sooner or later theyre hubsands are going to screw the marriage up and leave. so i rather work and make my own money and not depend on no funky man.

I'd like both,please. Stay at home and score myself a work-from-home / freelance job. That way,I can fulfill my duties as a good housewife and a working chica. Now thats independence for you ;)
