First of all, try to find out more then just his name. Go up to him, say hello, ask him how he is, then start from there. While striking up a conversation, you can start subtle flirting to see if he responds back. If he does, then both of you will start flirting...
It's all about going up to him and talking to him. I was in your situation once....I remember last year my friend and I had to go to the bank because she needed to make a deposit. The teller she has was so amazingly cute, and he only had a name tag on. That's how I knew his name. But I came back a week later, snagged him as my teller and now we talk online, sometimes on the phone, etc and we flirt like crazy. It's all about going up to that person and talking to them - intitating everything.
When you flirt, make sure you smile at him a lot, have good eye contact, and subtly brush your hand against his shoulder or his hand...just to see his reaction. If his first reaction is to shrug you away then you can know right away to forget about him and if he responds, go for it girl! I know you can do it.
