indeed it is young man as a matter of fact i am currently training for the 2008 olympics.my training is quit intense mind you including and not limited to several cases of beer nightly and a strict diet of pizza ,cheese burgers,icecream and more beer of course

Curling is a real sport, and requires real skill. The ability to put a 43lb rock through a space only 2" wider than the rock is amazing.

As an American who plays the only answer is yes. It is offensive that you say Canadians, because the US men won the gold in the olympics and because it is played all over the world, even in Australia.

Yes it is love watching it guring the games this past winter. looks easy but know its not. sliding a 35 lb rock on ice to a target some I think 100 ft away

Believe it was invented in Scotland (or by a Scot). It is popular in the Scandinavian countries, Scotland, Canada, and the Northern US. I actually find it a lot of fun to watch the top players compete.
