Concentrate on getting your degree. That would be the most important thing I suggest you do. It's a definite goal you can aim for. And do this one day at a time -- try to do something each day in your studies. Divide up your schoolwork into smaller units of work.

Do you have a hobby or two that you already have or a new one you are interested in taking up? That seems to help me when I am feeling down.

If possible, talk your situation over with a close friend you can trust. Or better yet, is there a counselor you could talk to? It helps to talk things out.

Is living with your sister your only option? Are there friends who could be your roommates? Is there a federal program in Malaysia that helps handicapped people find employment or places to live? Is there such a program in your particular state or city?

Good luck. I hope this helps you. I have prayed for you.

My friend, you have faced many challenges and come through very well. What you are experiencing is called depression, and you should see about getting some medication for it. Depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain experienced by millions of people including me. Once I got medication I saw the sunshine again and stopped procrastinating and worrying all the time. Due to your condition you probably have access to medication at a reduced rate. Go to your doctor and tell him what you have said here. You may also want to talk to a counsellor or psychiatrist about your inferiority complex... you sure don't sound inferior to me! You have overcome your disability, moved halfway across the world, earned an education many people never do... try to focus on the positive, and get those meds!

Affectionately,

Samlet
