Disk Cleanup, not doing it's job very well!?

Question

Alright, I typed this already, and lost it. Not doing that again, so here is the shorter version. UGHH Xp Pro, Going to C/properties/general to do a disk cleanup, (I dont mean c/properties/tools/error checking) I can do this over and over, but the numbers come back. Although, they appear do be going. But when I redo these steps...you get the picture. Anyone know why this is, and what to do. Thanks in advance

Try Internet Explorer
Tools
Options-click on delete cookies, delete offline files, delete files,delete history
Then go up to content & clear SSL certificate then ok.
Yahoo! Messenger with Voice-click preferences then message archives-clear these,Yahoo preferences- & clear ignore list.
On Menu-start all programs, accessories then disfrag & disk clean up. This should help & have a good day!

It is better that you format your drive then install a new win XP .
