Mate, all during the summer months, i was praying for Torres to come to Old Trafford, but i don't think Fergie and co even tried hard enough. But we're not doing too bad at the minute - we've got our Champion's League-winning striker back, and Ole's our top scorer! Don't fret my red friend

I think Fernando Torres should not go to Man Utd for precisely the same reason.

Man U should get Hargreeves instead. Torres won't be able to adapt the English game. Just look at Fernando Morientes. He was struggling with Liverpool but look at him now in Valencia.

he's good but not all players can play in the english game. it is just way too diff. from spainish or italian leagues. Just look at many examples of players moving to english side and cant play very well. The most obvious is of cos Shevchenko. He's not worth his price tag.but thats good cos i hate chelsea.look at Tevez also. Torres should go to Real Madrid n pair up with Nistelrooy. thats deadly.

if i am not mistaken he signed a new contract with Athletico Madrid which would mean he could not leave them unless a very high price is paid and also Manchester United dont need him as they now have Solsgaer returned from injury and soon they will have Alan Smith returning from his long term injury. they also have guiseppe rossi out on loan but he is an exciting young player so who needs an over paid player who cheats and dives as much as torres does??

i would love to see torres at man u, and ppl there's no way he could go to real madrid or barcelona. he plays for atletico which is real's rival, and forget about barca are you forgetting about how much those two regions hate each other. it's not just about futbol

i have heard that we have already paid 5 million quid as a down payment and he will be a man united player for the start of next season. thats why RVN was not replaced.

perhaps. it seems to me though that young spanish players are quite a gamble. look at reyes. i think that we could probably handle him well though and he'd be another string to our bow, but we are doing really well as it is at the moment and now that giggs is back we will destroy copenhagen midweek and give the scousers a pasting on sunday. bring it on !
