The California Redwood is the tallest. It is also very large in diameter, but I am not sure if it is the largest diameter. Don't really think so. But, I remember driving through a redwood tree when I was a girl. We were moving to a different city and Dad took us to the redwood Forrest because it was on the way. As a ten year old, I thought it was way cool to drive through it in the car.
