We Americans aren't all brainwashed, however I see what you mean.
I guess that people get so desperate it makes everyone so prone to violence it seems so right and addictive. Also, the current president seems to be more like Hitler everyday.
I'm happy to see someone who agrees with me.

You need to do some research. Poison gas was first used in World War I, not by the Americans. Near the end of World War II, two nuclear devices were used on Japan - after the American experience with Okinawa, almost all Japanese soldiers fighting to the death - the atomic bomb was the best solution in lieu to invading the main islands of Japan. All of Japan was a military camp. There are no straight lines of military - non military in a war, civilians have always been killed. In today's conflict, the Coalition Forces make every attempt to not kill civilians. Can the Terrorist say that?
North Korea invaded South Korea, the response was a United Nations effort.
Saddam used Mustard Gas on his own people (Kurds).
Treatment of the American Indian surely wasn't fair by today's standards, lots of wrong was done, but the Americans weren't first. The Spanish were, read the history of the treatment of the Incas and Aztecs - long before there was a United States.
Slavery, a fact of history, was wrong. The United States fought for 4 years to resolve the issue, and it wasn't mostly slaves that died in the conflict. The bloodiest conflict in American history.
The Viet Nam War was motivated by a fear of communism and the domino affect. The military could have won the conflict in a short period of time if they had been allowed to do their job. The President and Defense Secretary provide bad to extremely poor judgement and leadership during the conflict. Was the war right, no. But the military doesn't have the option of deciding right or wrong in the field, only at the ballot box. They have to follow the orders of the Commander In Chief.
If it wasn't for the United States of America, you'd probably be speaking German today and saluting the Nazi swastika!

I was born in 1984 and had nothing to do with any of the acts you site as showing how evil Americans are -- how exactly am I brainwashed? Dropping the atomic bomb on Japanese civilians ended a war in east Asia that had killed MILLIONS of innocent civilians - the two bombings combined killed less than a million people. Also, note that Japan is now one of the United States' strongest allies.... I can't say the Vietnam war was justified or fought in a humane way - but like I said, many Americans hadn't been born at the time or had no control over how the war was run.
The idea that ALL Americans are of the same mindset as our current president is just flat wrong - and you should stop lumping us all into the same group as a guy that less than half the country actually supports.

Well as far as the red indians, they are called Native Americans. Although I don't agree with what happened I understand(unlike you). It's rather simple. People from EUROPEAN COUNTRIES came to the new world to make a life for themselves and did what they needed to secure land for their own uses. As far as slavery, slavery has been used since the beginning of human affairs as a way of cheap labor, and although most countries don't use it today, some do and others use forms of cheap labor that are just as cruel. Again I don't agree with it but it happened and still happens. With the German's and Japanese, I imagine you are referring to WW2. There were many countries involved in this conflict. The countries you question needed to be stopped and if you read your history book you would know that they brought it on themselves. The US hadn't planned on being involved, but ended up being left with no choice. Why are you comlaining anyway? Can you imagine what life would be like today if these events didn't take place and other things were allowed to develop and continue? The middle east had it coming to. Guess you never really did your research. You seem to have some kind of an underdog complex. I'm sorry to have to inform you, but big bad U.S. doesn't go around picking on the poor little bitty innocent countries. You need to read a history book and educate yourself a little on cause and effect. War and fighting, slavery and bruality. None of it's pretty, but it happens everywhere not just in one country. Look at your own country's history I'm sure it's not all flowers and butterflies. If anyone is brainwashed it's you. You conform to your own point of view and ignore the big picture. I hope that you can learn to accept the side of life that isn't beautiful, analyze it thoughly, and take it for what it is.

YES MEDIA CAN WARP THE MIND BUT. America has made the world what it is with history, there has been just as many other wars that were fought before the US. Are you saying that all these other countries were even better, c'mon man. Let's get real, didn't the Germans started the Holocaust, didn't the Vietnamese killed just many of there own people as same as Japan fighting with China, and Korea. Hello? The world would have been speaking German instead of whatever there native tongue without the US. So, why are Americans brainwash, why are you brainwash.

I disagree with much of your "evidence." Bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki cost a lot in civillian lives, but the alternative was a land invasion (which, until the surrender, was set to happen) through a countryside of "civillian" militias who themselves were brainwashed into believing the americans were there to rape and kill.
After the war, when american soldiers were posted in Japan, the civies figured out pretty quickly that they were nice people and meant them no harm. If you want some proof (something you never provided, by the way) read Memoirs of a Geisha.
But otherwise, I agree with you, lol...my opinion, based on my exposure to the deep south (10 years) and then moving suddenly to a blue state, is that conservative christians are lemmings.

Ah, where to begin? Firstly, there are many things that our country has done that have been "buried." That is not to say we could not find out about them, but we would have to dig. Our assassinations of world leaders or our current protection of terrorists against Cuba, for instance, are not widely reported via conventional media. Secondly, many Americans have only a minimal understanding of history. Some probably do not know about the exploitation of the Chinese to build our intercontinental railroad, the internment of Japense-Americans, our protection of Nazi officers after WWII, etc. So, this is ignorance and apathy--not knowing the facts, and not knowing enough or caring enough to try to find them.
Another issue at play here is that many of the incidents to which you refer happened in the past. It is easy for some Americans to dismiss these events as being "old news." They do not see how a history of imperialism and exploitation affects us currently.
Another dimension to this is human nature. When someone lives in a country that has habitually mistreated others, there is a part of that individual that succumbs to denial. It is easier than facing up to guilt and trying to change circumstances on which maybe an ordinary citizen in his/her day-to-day life has little impact.

Dude, you are grossly misinformed.
native americans-true(Europe did it also)
blacks-true(the whole world did it also)
germans-true
Japanese-true, to some extent, the US warned the Japs, of utterly destruction if they persisted to continue this war. And a land invasion would have proved to cost even more lives since in the pacific islands at the time, battling between the Americans and Japs were ruthless. The Japs would kill their own women and children to prevent them from being captured by the US. hahaha, sick. What would they have done if a land attack occured?
vietnamese-true, but it is war, plus, when you see a fellow soldier killed by a kid, it doesn't really make them civilians, now does it?
Iraq- what??? Where are you getting you info for the body count? it is more like 50,000, even though that is grossly high also.
The inventors of the weapons, used them, and then realized their horror, and thus want to get rid of them. It is sort of like if your parents smoke, and realize the horror it brings, they by no means want you to smoke.

Your question doesn't match your statement. You really need to work on that. If you are just going to make you political statement, then this is the wrong forum. If you were a "reporter" you would already know this.
As for your question. Everyone on the planet is brainwashed to a certain extent or at least has on blinders or rose colored glasses. Hitler brainwashes a whole country into their being the master race. If you read what someone else wrote or watched it on TV you are being "influenced"/"brainwashed" into someone elses way of thinking. Go out, see for your self. Then make an educated decision on your own.
As for your political statement. Its a age old spin. Nice try but try again.

Hey stupid!
First off, use spell check. That way you won't sound half as ignorant as you are.
Secondly, read several well rounded and unbiased histories of the world and of the United States. While some of the things you say have the ring of truth, taken out of context the way you present your so called "facts", they are just incomplete stories twisted to present your version of the facts.
Do not subscribe to the N. Korean's, Iranian's or the liberalist views on the U.S. Obviously they are biased.
It is clear you are a coward, without the moral turpitude to identify yourself, your country of origin and your age (I am guessing 14-15) and without a proper education.
Finally: wahhhh! Crybaby!!!

you are right we have ruined the whole world with our bloody killing of civilians. we ruthlessly kill them with no reason and by the way the US is the ones killing all the civilians it is not the insurgents right? ....so i propose we do the following and still think we should have done this from the beginning of the way (but it is not politicially correct) we should notify all people in Iraq that they have 2 weeks to get out. they will be forced to go through tight checkpoints and after the 2 weeks we make Iraq a crater. That way no more civilians get killed and we get all the bad guys and also no more of our solidiers are killed. What do you think of that?????????
