As I understand it Windows will lock into a region after the first 5 DVDs you put in. After that you will need some cheat s/w to get your machine to play any other regions.
Try looking at http://www.dvdidle.com/index.htm
OH sorry if it is not a PC then Europe is Region 2 USA Region 1
Region 0 will play all.

Depends on where you are.
REGION 1 -- USA, Canada
REGION 2 -- Japan, Europe, South Africa, Middle East, Greenland
REGION 3 -- S.Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Parts of South East Asia
REGION 4 -- Australia, New Zealand, Latin America (including Mexico)
REGION 5 -- Eastern Europe, Russia, India, Africa

There are three more but they wouldn't pertain to you
