Hi, I have a laptop and I want to get internet on it. How should I go about doing it, I don't think my house has the wireless router thingy. Thanks guys.

If you have a Circuit City or Best Buy in the area, consult with someone in the computer department. Tell them what kind of router you have. You can get the brand and model off the router. They can recommend a card for you. If it doesn't work, you can always return it. Good Luck!

well you can simply connect it by a usb if the Modem support it which i do think it can support it, anyway if u r thinking about wireless it will cost more and you'll have to buy a new wireless router and ofcourse a wireless card for ur laptop.

Check with Sprint or Verizon to see who has the best price. Those two companies offer broadband service. Sprint was offering a free card if you subscribed to their service. You will have to enter into a contract.
