This morning when I went to check on the baby, it was hiding under it's hide. I lifted the hide and it was laying on it's back. I picked it up and it seemed fine. I was wondering if that is normal behavior for baby corn snakes or if that is something I should worry about

It sounds like it's treating the adult one as it's mother. That's very natural.

They do not have any sort of maternal instincts/bonds. It may be normal, can't say for sure. I'd keep an eye on it. The most important thing is that if you flip the baby over it can right itself without too much trouble. Having balance issues could be signs of a serious problem.

if its wild let it go. Are you sure its a corn snake? Hog nose snakes look similar to a corn snake but the are a little more greyish. They play dead when threatened. they will roll over on there back and try to lok dead

just make sure you dont put both snakes together because if the big cornsnake is hungry it might feed on the baby cornsnake and make sure their cages are big and long or it might come out and give you a bite.aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
