If your baby has quieted down... you might want to get your labor bag ready because babies will get really quiet right before you give birth.
Although I didn't know it at the time, my water was leaking (it was a small trickle). The thing that clued me in was that my daughter was no where nearly as active as she normally was, so I called my doctor. 24 hours later my daughter was born.
You might wanna put a call in to your OB and get ready to go!!
I wish you ALL the luck and the best delivery possible!

I have heard that the body makes you go for a pooh before you go into labour.
I am 35 weeks pregnant, and if I was you I would call the midwife to check. The baby can come from week 38.
Good Luck

This happened to me and I was advised to seek immediate medical attention, as the diarrrhoea has to be got rid of. If you were to end up on the labour ward with diarrhoea it would actually have to be closed to avoid cross infection!
In fact, I did not go into labour at that point, but I well remember the panic of the hospital staff at the prospect of my doing so in that state! Take something for the diarrhoea!

It could be the case. It might just be a bad meal you had or a virus. But I would still make sure youb are ready to give birth (bag packed, someone to give you a lift, petrol in car etc) so that if labour does start eveything will go smoothly.

I gave birth 4weeks ago and i had quite a bad case of diarrhoea and severe back ache, i didn't think that it was labour but it turned out that it was so i would phone your midwife and let her know that u think you might be in labour.

If your baby is still quiet, you need to get monitored.
It certainly sounds like labour is on the way!
Best of luck.

Could be! A good crapping session is biologically programmed into you so you don't give birth to something else in the meantime... If you're feeling sick then that's a sign of the hormones kicking in. I would say there's a good chance - pack your bag and good luck!

Sounds like it - I had very bad diarhoea & sickness & then 2 hours later started contractions - its your bodys way of having a clear out before it all starts.
Try to relax, have a soak in the bath & good luck, just grit your teeth & push like mad when they tell you
