Better spend the money and get an expert to check and fix it. It may be a more serious problem that affects brake efficiency, and you do want them to work OK in an emergency!
I have just had my Corsa 1.4 MOT'd ( annual check - USA ) and they found brakes sticking and corrosion which had to be fixed.
Moral . Do not leave a car standing for long with the brakes on in a damp climate- chock the wheels instead.!

Yes it is the emergency brake cable stuck and I am afraid the only way to get it freed up is to remove the brake drum which will be very difficult so get a big hammer and where the cable attaches to the bottom of the rear shoe pound it back and dont use the parking brake tiil you get the cables replaced

Sounds like handbrake not releasing , tap centre of wheels with hammer sharply that will userly free them of, it also could be that the brake shoes have stuck to drum the same solution works .if its the handbrake cable get it changed otherwise it will wear out your rear brake shoes

do no longer, under any situations, spray WD-forty on your brakes – it won't loose seized brakes and could contaminate the pads/shoes. i won't grant something different than being in equipment, the take carry of plates can bind jointly if a motorbike is left for long sufficient, in case you're particular that's in independent attempt gently kicking over the starter (with the motorbike on a centre stand with the wheel interior the air) – you're no longer attempting to start the motorbike in basic terms a examine – if all of it strikes easily placed it into 2d, start up the motorbike with the take carry of in, strengthen the revs and launch the take carry of, this could jolt it loose. as long because of the fact the rear wheel is interior the air it won't circulate everywhere, so which you may kick it whilst status beside the motorbike.

Could be a stuck handbrake cable, squirt loads of WD40 where the cable goes into the wheel and where it splits int two before going to both wheels.

Can also be caused by brake fluid seeping from a wheel cylinder. Overnight the brake fluid on brake lining and drums asks like sticking glue.

Brake shoes! Try driving forward or backwards and that more often that not frees them up. If this doesn't work it's a wheel off job.
