They had some battery trouble lately, but otherwise Dell has the best in class laptops.

No, Dell's laptops are not rubbish, they are decent machines.

They do have problems with a certain type of battery that can get too hot and catch fire. This person obviously ignored the battery recall and took his chances. Fool.

Only a few specific models and then only a few specific batches are affected by this.

I guess not, I think Dell notebooks are excellent in terms of quality and ergonomics. I had Sony and Compaque notebooks, and I think Dell is much better than both in many aspects.

I service all laptops and my DELL is one of the easiest to disassemble and service, also it works great...theyve just had some battery manufacturing issues (made by sony,of all ...)
