Erasing the codes is not a good idea because mechanic need to see the code to implement a repair plan. Next time the light gos on see Toyota I think you will find Air Bags have a Longer warranty. Crash sensor air bag control in the middle of the truck Two to 10 air bags seat belt pre-tensioners spiral cable behind the steering wheel all can fail and leave different codes. Toyota Dealer only Has the tool for Reading Air Bag codes. Great year make model and miles even Yea!

When the light is on the system is deactivated.
Take it to a qualified technician.
Typically when the light comes on it is because a device known as the clock spring has failed.
Could also be one of the sensors.
Just my opinion, I might be wrong.

There could be a problem with one of the sensors that detect impacts. The dealer can diagnose the problem.
