I have a large record collection that I am transferring to MP3 - looking to sell afterwards. Have tried bigger well know outlets. Was wondering if there was anyone out there that buys vinyl collections. All kept extremely well and some collectable / out of pressing in collection.

Try Ebay. Also, you could try used music stores. A lot of them buy them to resell. I'd only do that with the non-collectable ones. Collectable things could be best at Ebay.

Hi entsunion,
Try getting the book" Goldmine to 45 rpm by:Tim Neely
The maxim to remeber when (buying & selling) 45's is the condition.
Them most valuble American 45RPM is "Do I Love You(Indeed I Do)" by Frank Wislon on Soul S-35019, sold for 15,000 pounds(roughly for $24,000 in U.S.) to a disc jockey in Scotland in the late 1989.
I suggest you try Yahoo.recordcollectors or any collectors-ebay has some. So you get the right price for your records. I hope this helps & have a good day!

Keep them for as long as you can.....they will be worth a small fortune in years to come. Hang on to them for now.

If they are taking up space and getting on you nerves.. catalogue them first then box them up and put away in the loft if you have one.
