No, you can't. For starters, you need a DVD/R or DVD/RW drive and also the correct drivers and software that corresponds to your DVD burner.

A CD/RW is useless for DVD's - totally different format.

The short answer is NO!!! the cd writer will not read dvd's the laser is totally different

look at you question burn a dvd using cd/rw drive.

i don.t think so you would have to buy a dvd driver from a p.c shop
