Yes, while among the Amish and Mennonites. Also know some pentecostal women who wear scarves or hats. Plenty of old country Catholic women who wear a scarf.

Well in the US, you don't have to go much further than Roman Catholic nuns so they may demonstrate that they are servants of the Lord. Or many sects, such as the Shakers, that do so out of modesty, tradition & respect.
The issue of Islamic head coverings is such a lightening rod; yet we donot look carefully around us, do we?

Some devout Christian women not only covered their head in Church, but also to and from the service.

Yes, I have known many American and African women that wear a scarf or head covering. It represents humility and worship.
