Are you insane? Ever hear of hockey parents who
abuse the refs? How about hockey coaches who abuse
players? David Frost and Graham James are sick perverts.
Ice hockey has fewer fans worldwide than soccer does.
The World Cup is the most watched event on TV, surpassing
the Olympics. Ice Hockey is clearly the #4 team sport in North
America behind football, basketball and baseball. There are probably more people participating in soccer than ice hockey in
North America. If people are putting it down, it's because of people like you. There's racism in hockey too, but maybe you're
too ignorant to face the facts. Don Cherry is the epitome of
racism...making his anti-French and anti-European cracks. Sean
Avery is another jackass running his mouth off. I would like to see someone level him good. Hockey has racism, pedophiles,
and psycho hockey parents who abuse the refs and kids in the game. Hockey is also thug life, with the cheapshot artists that
can't do anything else, since they have no or little skill to begin with. Hockey is where you have shifts, and maybe you're on the ice 20-40 minutes/game. Soccer, you have to be able to play up
to 120 minutes. In soccer, you're constantly running. There is no comparison in terms of physical demands on the body. Hockey is has all that protective equipment dumbo. Of course, they can hit harder. Besides shinpads, kneepads, and a protective cup,
soccer players don't have much else in terms of protections. It's
easy to be physical when you have the armor that is similar to a football player. The person who thinks golf and baseball are real sports and soccer isn't, is a fool. He just proved how moronic
some hockey fans can really be.

You are the same guy that asked that other stupid question about Mexicans. Now you are asking another dumb *** question. Soccer is they king of all sports and what is hockey compared to that. In a pro soccer game, players run up to 7 miles in a game. Hockey players do what??? Yeah they get hurt but, look at all the stuff they are wearing. PEOPLE LIKE YOU MAKE HOCKEY LOOK BAD. Besides where did you see that soccer fans threw bannas at black players??? Have you ever heard of Pele of Rolando or Ronaldinho they are all black and some of the greatest soccer players ever!!! They are respected!!!
Maybe you should get your facts straight before you ask another dumb question. By the way thanks for the 2 points.

i am a soccer fan and a hockey fan.............the main differences between the two really are that hockey is more fast-paced as to where soccer is more of patience. i play both hockey and soccer and again the differences are hockey i have to be quick and fast, soccer when i don't have the ball i can walk around but when i get the ball you have to run your *** off because there will be someone trying to get it from you immediately. between the two i'd say soccer takes more skill.....curving the ball, shooting from far distances, controlling the ball whereas hockey it's basically shoot, pass, deke. but hockey is tough too with the fighting and all. overall, soccer harder to play - hockey better to watch over soccer. (by the way the soccer players fall down like asses to get a free kick and get the other player in trouble).

I TOTALLY AGREE!!! U ROCK !!!!!!! my friend goes to soccer practice and she thinks running 1 or 2 laps, doing 3 pushups is hard..i told her TRY PLAYING HOCKEY AND ULL DIE! yet soccer fans still argue soccer is better..ive watched some boring socer games before..and one difference i noticed is that when soccer players fall they stay on the ground so that the whole game stops, even if theyre not injured at all..and they make big deals out of everything..the only time u see a hockey player laying on the ice is when hes seriousley injured or is unconcious from a mighty check..in what sport besides football and hockey can u have 200lb and over guys hitting u slamming u to the ground/ice? soccer players complain for getting hit with a soccer ball. plus most of the time a lot of them just stand there and dont run..or just walk. hockey players are ALWAYS in action..and are much more coordinated..just the fact that ur on ice skates makes it so much harder..but then u have to handle a puck with a stick with 2 guys coming full speed right into you! any smart person would know hockey requires much more skill and effort than soccer. heres an example..take a guy that has NEVER EVER in his life played any sport..and one day he plays soccer and hockey..(no tricks or anything) wouldnt it be so much easier for him to run around and kick a ball then
ice skate and handle a puck?!?! hockey players have so much equipment for a reason..thx for bringing this topic up..i love arguing about this

properly Hockey is a pastime performed on grass. Ice Hockey is a pastime that become invented in Canada and that's a far greater desirable pastime than the different sh*t activities that they play in North united statesa., like American soccer, Baseball and Basketball. notwithstanding it could on no account compete on the worldwide point with actual soccer. the pastime that North individuals call soccer is the worldwide game, like it or no longer.

I played hockey quite a bit of my life. However I have never, nor will I bash any other sport. On a pro level they all have to work hard. So to say one is more than the other on any aspect of it is incorrect. I have seen people degrade baseball a lot also cause it is suppose to be too slow. So I think you have to try it before you knock it. And for the pro level let another pro player anothers sport before he bashes it.

Sure Soccer is the most popular and most played sport in the world.. but look at it.. its also the cheapest.. all you need is people and a friggin ball. 90% of Soccer people could only wish they played hockey.. I cant stand Soccer and never will, most boring sport ever, and I would rather watch 24 hours of grass grow.
