My husband and I have a mutual best friend. I just found out that she has been withholding alot
of things from me . She knows my husband is doing bad things behind my back and she won't tell me. She says she doesn't want to hurt our marriage. Do you think that I should continue to be friends with someone that withholds important information fro me. Thanks!

Dump her *** and then look at your husbands behaviour! Is the stuff that he's doing bad enough to send him packing too????

I dont think you should. I think that withholding something from a best friend is like lying. But then again she probably doesnt want to ne the one for your divorce... This is a tough situation. I think its wrong that your husband is doing wrong things... and leaving your best friend in the middle of it he should be the one to tell you. but if this was my "best friend" I would dump her down the road and find on that wouldnt withhold you.. i hope this helps!

I would not call her a friend if she is telling you half the story//
This kind of behaviour only hurts a relationship and she is not worried about how it will affect you. It can cause stress, worry and jealousy between you and your husband..... You will eventually confront him and there will be alot of upset......
I would wonder if it is something to do with her or one of her friends... I certainly would not trust her...
It is time to put out the trash.......There are some people in this world that I just don't keep in my circle of friendship....

Maybe she doesn't want to be the bad guy, but if she were really your friend and she wanted what was best for you, I think she should tell you. Friends should be there for one another, thru good times and bad. If there is something going on that could hurt your marriage she, being your best friend, should let you know.

Yes...Its not her responsibility to tell you anything...It would turn back around on to her...Lets put it this way...She tells you, you and your husband fight, you make up, now husband doesn't want you to be friends with friend, or you blame her for causing friction in your relationship...She loses either way...

Better ask yourself:a husband or not?
Iwould first deal with him,you hold on to her.
Husbands come and go.
Friends may last forever.
She is not being dishonoust to you,but is maybe trying to protect you from getting hurt.
Sit her down, don't get angry and talk about it.

you deserve better and your hubby and freind havent been honest and true to you...its not your freinds fault what your hubby does but a true freind would be looking out for you...relationships&freindships should be unquestionable and once you do start questioning because of gut feelings you are better off walking away before you get to hurt, and usually you are right...good luck with it
