Not everyone is in a position to be choosy about the job they are in, for some they will do any work they can to support their families, especially when in some areas jobs are not readily avaiable and if you are not educated that makes it all the more harder with the people you have to compete with to even get a job in the first place.
Try the reality question of why would you go and buy an item knowing it was made in by a child who was only being paid 20cents an hour just so you can save a few dollars?

Why do most people do anything, its all about money and survival.

Luckily I have a good job that does make a difference in people lives, unfortunately not always for the best.

Some people would rather work in a clean munitions factory than underground in the sewer lines. The former certainly does not enhance the quality of human life and the latter does...

Further, some people need work so badly as to not have the luxury to choose based on moral correctness.

There may be some other compulsions for taking the job in the industry though unwillingly and consequently compromising integrity is a temporary phenomena. The moment the constraints are removed one may move to a favoured industryjob. Everyone is not lucky enough to have bagged a favourite job at the first instance itself.
