this might sound a bit strange since i already have 3 children but im not sure weather im pregnant or not. we decided to start trying for another baby last mth, my last period ended 13th sept ( i had just stopped taking the pill) and my period is nearly a wk late. had some brownish stains cple of days ago then nothing. with my other children it took mths to fall, do u think i could have fell pregnant that soon. did a test last tues 10th~ negative.has any body experience this before?

i know i should know every thing by now but i just dont think i could be lucky enough to fall pregnant straight away when its never happened this quickly before!

well guys i done another test this morning and nothing (negative) so i take it my period must just be a bit late, il leave it another wk then go to the docs, thanks everybody for helping il keep you posted

Hi there-it sounds like the usual proceedure is taking place after coming off the pill, and what you have described does not in itself indicate a pregnancy although not impossible. It sounds as if it may be wishful thinking as you are obviously keen to conceive! The important thing is that you relax and enjoy the anticipation of the future-I am sure it will all come together as planned as there is no reason why not. When you stop the pill, the brown discharge is quite normal. Do a test in a couple of weeks, more if you can leave it longer, as several negatives can cause upset which is the last thing you want at the moment! By then in any case you may feel pregnant!Women who have been so before sometimes get that instinctive feeling! I wish you and your family all the very best for the future!

My First Test Came Out Negative Because i Did It In The Afternoon So Take Another Or Go To The Doctors.x

It takes a while for your body to re-adjust when you stop taking the pill, this could be what has thrown your cycle out of sinc, but then again I got pregnant and had light periods for the first three months! give it another a week and if nothing hapens try another test (use a different brand as well, you never know?).

yes I have experienced it before, I thought I was pregnant because I didn't have much of a period at all and I panicked and did about 5 tests in a week but they were all negative.
Maybe go to the doctors and get them to do a pregnancy test then at least you'll know for definite.

According to my pregnacy wheel...
LMP started around 9/5 (I am just estimating because you said the last day of your period was 9/13).
The probable date of conception would then be around 9/20.
You should be able to get a positive pregnancy test on 10/17, if you are pregnant. (I hope you are!)

If I were you I would retest. Now would be good. I have 3 and am a little lost trying to get pregnant. Strange ha? We would think we are pros by now.

hi, it happened to me when i was a young girl i was Taking the pill and i missed one tablet,,,the brown came and then i was late hence PREGNANCY.....IT WOULD BE ADVISABLE TO REST AS MUCH AS YOU CAN AND NOT GET STRESSED!hope you are....
