I have a photographic project to do on time, one idea is a sundial, is there a good one anywhere in the UK, say set into the landscape etc...

Yes use a tall tree or a shadow of something and you need the sun of course for it to work properly. You can tell the time of day by the shadows cast by the sun...you do not necessarily need a sundial to do this. Even your own shadow will give you an indication as to the approximate time of day.

Yes.We have one in Perth,it's across the River Tay at the bottom of High Street.It's on the River side walk.very interesting remember to +&-depending on the time change.

There is a great one in the Yorkshire Sculpture park.
I think there is also a bronze one at Fountains Abbey which has gone all green with verdigris.
