I had done a health check recently and I was having a cold when I did it. I was told that my blood pressure was slightly higher than normal (100 in the lower number). The thing is I had my blood pressure measured in a month ago and that was normal (well I didn't know the result but my doctor didn't say anything about it). I just wonder if my cold had anything to do with it, which made the result inaccurate. Also I was told that I was slightly dehydrated and blood was slighter thicker than normal. Was it due to the cold as well?

Yes, abnormal conditions definitely affect your vitals like blood pressure because you're body is "under stress" in those circumstances. BP and other vitals are good parameters to know if you have a disease, etc.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

A cold shouldn't affect your BP, but cold medicine can elevate it. Normally, you aren't diagnosised with hypertension until you have it checked consistently and it's elevated. Usually 3 times.....The dehydration can result from fever or decreased intake. That's normal when you have a cold. You should have your BP rechecked a few more times.
