what is this country coming to when a british school with a majority of muslim pupils expects children of other religions to wear muslim head scarfs and other attire or not be aloud to attend the school but when a muslim woman is asked to remove her veil for security checks at post office before sending a parcel the staff are being racist and have to send a written apolige.

what is this country comming to with polititions tip-toeing around muslims so not to offend its all bollocks if muslims want to live in the UK they should obide by are laws and show there face's when required to for security purpose's, after all the bomings that have been happening by religious nutters you'd think the innocent people would be happy to co'operate

It's been happening for years.

And the government are too afraid of being seen as racist that they bend over backwards to include monorities into the communtity by adapting our rules for them.

Yet they do nothing when the monorities won't let the rest of us into their communtities without bowing to their laws.

The governement, and the majority of the population, want an integrated UK.

It's a shame that there is a large minority, mainly muslim, who want to have UK laws changed to accomodate them, yet want to enforce extra laws on non-muslims who try to fit in with their communities.

There should be one set of laws in the country, and EVERYONE should live by them.

If muslims want to force non-muslims to wear veils in their schools then they should accept non-muslim schools rules on no veils.

It all boils down to money. Those in charge don't want to be faced with a hefty bill when eager lawyers persuade these people to bring an action before the European Court of Human Rights. It's so much cheaper and easier to cringe and apologise!

Money makes the world go round....

there is a school of thought, that we should have a Godless world order, there is a possability that British natives are being deliberatly wound up and seriously antagonised by political correctness deliberatly.Christians are certainly being wound up, they are treated as a minority.Where is it all coming from, local councils, white british councils gloryfying imigrants and foriegn
religeons ahead of our own. Brussels I believe is the base for this, it is them that want a godless world order, The E.U. costitution did not want protection for Christians, incase it upset non religeous people. but they want to afford protection for outher
religeons. that is a wind up, caused by polaticians.

You are right.
It has nothing to do with the religion as much as one group of people being treated differently to another which should not happen in a democratic country which we are meant to be.

High time it was spelt out to them.
IF YOU DO NOT LIKE IT HERE GO HOME OR THE COUNTRY OF YOUR ORIGIN.
Yes I say this as an immigrant who has enjoyed peace in UK for almost 40 years.

Well done Grizzly bear. With knee jerk, tabloid drivel like that, you and your half wit pals continue to drive nails in the coffin of Great Britain.

I agree with your sentiment, but for god's sake, we need to raise our game above this kind of Daily Star educated nonsense.

Well i guess those clothes aren't against their religion or traditions and ofcourse not harmless So why don't we say that they don't want to make diffrence between Muslims and non-muslims.any way iam with you that women who are covering them selves should reveal their faces for security prposes but why isn't their a woman next to the security man so the Muslim woman can reveal her face to her.
So it is not a big deal and i guess their are alot of apologies to Islam more than this

ONE SHOULD BE TOLERANT OF ANOTHERS BELIEF.
WHAT HAS A VEIL TO DO WITH SECURITY IF THAT PERSON REQUEST PRIVACY RATHER THAN OPEN SCREENING BECAUSE OF BELIEFS.
AT SAMKE TIME THOSE PEOPLE ARE AWARE THAT SECURITY IS GOING TO TAKE PLACE.
IF CERTAIN ACTS AR AGAINST THEIR RELIGION THEN THEY NEED NOT TRAVEL OR REMAIN IN THE COUNTRY THAT FORCES SUCH IDIOT COVERING.

All religions should be discriminated against equally. A little bit of Religion is like a little bit of syphilis, unless eradicated, it always gets worse.
