Of course, the majority of people are honest and decent but nobody wants to hear that. The only news people get to hear about is the extremes of our society and the minority of sociopaths and bigots.

I wear clothes in public so I guess I'm decent then. Yes the majority of people are, but decent people don't make for scandalous news so you never hear about them.

I am not from the UK but both of my family doctors,my English tutors are from there.To me they are decent people,therefore I am sure there are millions more decent people there.
