I would rather have the life I have now. I know it well and am comforted by my anonymity. Plenty of folks know me, and the amount is easily handled. Copious amounts of money just means I will live entirely too high on the hog, discount my old friends, and flit from relationship to relationship. And, OH, I would have to suffer people like Paris Hilton !

Now, where is the fun in that?

I would like to be a celebrity like an author with Best Selling book and have my 15 minutes of fame then retire to the farm and party all night & day

It all depends on why you are a celebrity. I would love to be a celebrity because I write songs, and I really like doing that. If I could become a pro at it and be a celeb. I'd love to be a celeb then! Then I could meet Hannah Montana!

Normal life. I cherish my privacy, it is priceless. Look at Robbie Williams: he hates paparazzi and they hate him. Even when he goes to the toilet, it appears in the headlines. You would be crazy to want that, with all the money in the world. It would be my worst nightmare, having to arrange security just to have a decent meal somewhere. Or fly to a deserted island just to have some holidays and even then some jackass reporter finds out and stalks you a fortnight long.

A normal life is better

In order to be a celebrity in todays world you must have your brain removed and flushed of all common sense and intelligence. Upon reinstallation at least two connections must be missed so you are only capable of mumbling MORONIC JIBBERISH.

Doesn't appear to be a hard choice. Not for me.
