I am a British citizen living in the UK and my Wife / partner of 11 years is Burundian.I have 2 daughters 10 & 6 years who are living with her. I am unemployed and living in temporary accommodation (homeless) I am getting no help from the government in any respect. I am getting an Army pension and a war disability allowance. I am £9 over what the law says is the minimum amount to live on so I get no benefits. My wife is unemployed so I try to send what money I can, (she has to pay for her room and buy food) My family is suffering and I cannot do anything to help them. The girls do not go to school.

Same way American's have done it for 200+ years, go make something happen. Sell newspapers on the corner, sell your blood ( I did for 10 years to feed my first child) scrub floors like my great-grandmother did to feed my mother in the US depression of 1929. If you had NOTHING you wouldn't be on a computer asking the world what to do... nothing means living under a BRIDGE like they do here in the USA! Homeless here means you have NOTHING! not even a place to use a computer...friends come to mind, if you don't have any get some, jobs for older folks are out there, you just have to do labor intensive work, empty garbage, scrub floors, put up with people that have no patients for those of us ONE PAY CHECK FROM HOMELESSNESS! Even in the USA most of us are only a pay check from loosing it all. Trust me I am one of those people. Move to the USA, in a few weeks you will have more than the average American, all the people that come here with head in hands gets more that those BORN HERE! If you have enough of a NEED they will move your wife and kids here to, and then the job part and house part is up to you to KEEP! good luck

Maybe you should have brought your family to the U.S. Many South American and Mexican families cross the southern border of the U.S. They travel hundreds of miles into a country where they can't even speak the language. They bring nothing but the clothes on their backs. Next thing you know they are driving around in fancy trucks and sending money home to their extended families.

Go to Mexico and cross the southern border of the U.S.

i've got been to Cape city, South Africa. Your earnings is low there, yet so are the expenses. i could say you're able to make a living there. it somewhat is a great city by way of the way. never the way you photograph Africa. Cape city is fairly very equivalent to a western city, with tall homes and corporation existence. somewhat nicely worth a bypass to or an prolonged stay.

You are a SLACKER
Find a job.
Get the kids into school or they will grow up and be village idiots. Besides, it is against the law to keep them out.
Your wife needs a job.
Another thing....if you are so poor, how come you are on the computer and wasting your time on Yahoo answers?

if your a citzen can't you apply for your family to come to the UK? then make your wife work. thats what everyone does in the US. if not. your a british citizen. it should be easy for you to get a green card to the US. then you can apply to bring your family. most citizens hate it, but everyone here is an immigrant and most end up bringing their entire family. it is quite hard to survive in europe. it is a lot easier in the US although not much lately. just move to a cheaper area.

Is she your wife or partner? You should get your family to UK - you are entitled to it. Your wife probably won't be able to work for some time, but your kids will get education and with them with you, you will be entitled to social welfare and apartmant.
