Wash hot a few times. A crayon is simply wax and pigment. Get it hot again, and it'll melt. Right now it's a big mess and on everything, right? Try washing everything hot. You might need a few tries to get all of the crayon drained. If necessary, you might have to (gasp) wash it all by hand! Try the washer first.

I've never tried this, but it's worth a shot!

My daughter did the samething at the same age..must be something about crayons and heat for 3 year olds.
Unfortunately i never found anything that would remove the color of the crayon from the material once it had been heated. It's not the wax that stays on the fabric but the die in the wax..and usually once a die or stain has been heat set..you will play Hades getting it out.
Sorry...best thing i can tell you myself is to lock all the crayons up while you are doing laundry so your daughter doesn't have any ammo handy.

There are great stain removers on the market, such-as "goo-be-gone", that will work. A good home recipe to remove the crayon which is a wax, is to put all the damaged items in the freezer. After that, it is just patience while you peel away all the wax pieces. (Note: It would have been easier to remove the crayon, if the clothing had not been dried in your dryer). Good Luck.

Go to this website (crayola`s website) and click on the what type of product the stain is, then what the stain is in,, and this is what they say.
WD-40 is great for removing crayon....I use WD-40 on alot of stains

Laundry detergent
Liquid dishwashing detergent
WD-40® (car part lubricant)
Bleach for colored clothing (Clorox 2® or Biz®)
Paper towels
Amodex® ink & stain remover
Procedure
Place the stained surface down on pad of paper towels, spray with WD-40, let stand a few minutes, turn fabric over and spray the other side. Apply liquid dishwashing detergent and work into the stained area, replacing towelling as it absorbs the stain. Wash in hot water with laundry detergent and bleach for about 12 minutes (use heavy soiled setting if there is no minute timer on your machine) and rinse in warm water.Special Note:Heat-Set Stains-Clean the drum of your dryer to remove any remaining wax residue. Spray a soft cloth with WD-40, and wipe the drum. Run a load of dry rags through a drying cycle to ensure that your drum is clean. (Optional)-Amodex® ink & stain remover PROCEDURE: Use according to directions on container. Purchase Amodex by calling 800-624-PENS or visit www.fahrneyspens.com.

Crayon purchase dry cleansing solvent, and follow the guidelines on the bottle. in case you want to attempt this well-known: Take a warmth iron, and positioned a chunk of paper towel, in decrease back of the stain, and a chunk of paper towel at the front of the stain, and iron gently over the stain, at the same time as the paper towel receives the stain on it, then positioned a sparkling one there, If the stain remains there then use the dry cleansing solvent for something of it. Then wash as favourite.

Goodwill or Salvation Army. Make a trade with them. Im sure bums would LOVE to have red crayon wax all over their clothes....that way the rain would bead right away! Good Luck!
