You don't give alot of specifics about the dress.
How about wearing black leather pants underneath. Wouldn't work for the Country Club, but in a Club environment it could.
Or if you are going to keep the dress, maybe something in a shades of goth range. Smokey eyes, dark red lipstick, Jet black stockings and stiletto boots.
Finally I always say you can wear anything anywhere with a classic string of pearls.

To wear casually, try teaming it with flip flops or ballet flats or tie-up espradilles; that'd look really nice. Add a large hand bag, and to be really in this season add a handbag in bright red, or sky blue, really bright colours. Finish all this off with a pair of big sunnies. For evening/fancy try a cinched waist look. Get a ribbon, or you can buy a silver or gold waist belt and do it up under your bust. A bow at the back would look really nice. Team this with peep toe heels, or if you're looking for a bit of spunk try wearing dress + footless lace tights in black or dark grey + round toe heels/flats + lots of bangles. Hope this helps! :)

For casual put some black 3/4 tights under it with ballet flats and a cute jacket.
For night put some sexy black heels on and a little bolero.
Add your own accessories to make it yours with a cute handbag to match and long necklace!

Put some cute leggings underneath with knee high boots. That would be cute.It's getting too cold here for a minidress!!

Wear it over skinny jeans and ballet flats for day, or with opaque tights and platform pumps for night. Or, leggings and some distressed brown boots for a funkier look.
