This is an excerpt from an american sonnet writer i read when i was small...but i am not able to find the name of the poetess. I've been trying for the past 9 years. Please help!!!

Some excerpts.......
... What shall I call thee? For I long to call
Thee what thou art, Yet what thou art is fraught
With mystery beyond the soul's far reach

... So might a clumsy school boy with a line
Of chalk upon a slate contrive a star
And weep because his copy doesnot shine

I've googled this six ways from Sunday and it's just not out there. I've been reading poetry all my life and think I would have remembered these lines had I ever seen them. Please contact me if you find the complete poem - I'd like to know too!
